Capybara Island Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

This policy applies to the Capybara Island app (package name com.alhajillo.capybaraIsland), developed and published by Alhajillo Interactive, a video game studio based in Quito, Ecuador. For any privacy question, write to us at [email protected].

2. Data we collect

None. Capybara Island does not collect, store on servers, share or sell any personal or sensitive user data.

The app does not require an account or sign-in, shows no advertising, includes no analytics or tracking tools, has no in-app purchases and embeds no third-party SDKs that collect data.

3. Data stored on your device

So you can continue where you left off, the app stores locally, in the private storage Android assigns to the app:

• your game progress (saved game);

• your preferences: music and sound-effect volume, language and whether you completed the tutorial.

This data never leaves your device: it is not sent to Alhajillo Interactive or any third party. It is deleted when you uninstall the app or clear its data in Settings > Apps > Capybara Island > Storage > Clear data.

4. Permissions and connectivity

Capybara Island requests no sensitive permissions: it does not access your location, camera, microphone, contacts, photos or files. The game works offline and does not communicate with any server.

5. Third parties

We do not share data with third parties because we do not collect any. The app is distributed through Google Play; Google may process data related to downloads, updates or Android crash reports under its own privacy policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy), independently of Capybara Island.

6. Children

Capybara Island is suitable for all ages. We do not collect personal data from anyone, including children under 13, and the app contains no advertising or links that request personal information.

7. Security

Saved games and settings are kept in the app's private space, protected by Android and not accessible to other apps.

8. Your rights

Since we keep no personal data, there is no information about you in our possession to access, correct or delete. You can delete the data stored on your device at any time as described above. For questions or requests, write to [email protected].

9. Changes to this policy

If we add features that involve processing data in the future (for example advertising, analytics or online play), we will update this policy before releasing them and show the date of the last update here.
